Finance Manager Full Time

The role of the finance manager is to manage a small finance team within the organisation, managing and overseeing the full finance function and reporting to the CEO. The successful finance manager must have experience managing a team and running a finance department for a small or medium sized business.

Duties:

• Coordinate high-priority meetings
• Processing payroll
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Intercompany reconciliations (using Xero)
• Review of bank reconciliations
• Overview of AP and AR functions
• Reporting (cashflow forecast reports, AR reports and monthly cash summary)
• Payments to suppliers
• Preparations of manual journals
• Liaising with international offices

The ideal candidate will have

• A degree in finance and/or accounting
• Experience managing a finance team
• 2 years of finance experience
• experience using Xero accounting software
• Media industry experience
• Experience processing payroll, VAT returns, AR and AP
• Experience preparing project reports
• Experience processing staff expense claim systems
• Experience preparing FX transfers
• An understanding of money market deposit accounts
