We are looking for a motivated individual who’s is happy to support a team of experienced Estimators with their very busy and demanding role. This is a great opportunity for someone with some office or administrative experience, who’s keen to build a career in the construction industry and develop specialist skills in estimating.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting the estimating team with preparing quotes and tender documents
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and supplier information
Collecting cost data and keeping records up to date
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
Supporting general office tasks related to projects and bids
Learning how to prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets
What we’re looking for:
1–2 years’ office or administrative experience (construction-related is preferable)
Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
Must be able to demonstrate real attention to detail and very calm under pressure
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
An interest in construction, architecture, or estimating
Strong communication and organisational skills
Eagerness to learn and build a career in construction estimating
Must hold full Right to Work in the UK, as security screening before start date will be required
