This is a non-patient-facing role focused on high-cost, specialist medications not typically encountered in community pharmacy. As the Lead Pharmacist – Pharmacy Operations, you will take full ownership of pharmacy leadership, medicines management, and regulatory compliance at the Scimitar Park site.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Pharmacist – Pharmacy Operations:
Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for the site
Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists and technicians
Ensure full compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory frameworks
Drive clinical governance and medicines optimisation
Collaborate with QA, compounding, and customer service teams
Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and strategic projects
What We’re Looking For:
GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescribing qualification
Proven experience in a senior or leadership role
Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational abilities
